Getting started
Get Nuggets scans the ~2,000 largest US companies for stocks with strong upside potential over the next 6 to 12 weeks, and an artificial intelligence (Anthropic's Claude) writes the analysis. Four steps to get going, about ten minutes in all.
1Your account
Create your account with your email address and a password (“Create my account” tab on the sign-in page). The administrator then approves your registration: until then, the app stays closed. On the waiting screen, “Check whether my access is open” lets you in as soon as it is approved.
Forgot your password: “Forgot your password?” on the sign-in page sends you a link by email.
2Optional: your Gemini key (free)
Your 10 free credits are enough to start: each analysis or follow-up check you request uses one. A personal Gemini key, free and with no credit card, takes over when they run out. All you need is a Google account (Gmail).
- Open aistudio.google.com/apikey and sign in with your Google account. Accept the terms if they appear.
- Click “Create API key”. If you are asked for a project, keep the one suggested.
- Copy the key shown (a long string of letters and digits starting with “AQ.” or “AIza”).
- In Get Nuggets, open Settings, “My Gemini key” section, paste it and save. The app checks it with Google and stores it encrypted: nobody else sees it.
The free key easily allows a few dozen analyses a day. If Google answers “limit reached”, try again later or the next day: Google's counter resets every day.
3The app on your phone
Get Nuggets is a website, but it installs like an app, with its own icon:
- iPhone: open the site in Safari, tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up), then “Add to Home Screen”, then “Add”.
- Android: open the site in Chrome, tap the menu (three dots), then “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
- Computer: in Chrome or Edge, the install icon appears on the right of the address bar. Otherwise, a simple bookmark is enough.
4Notifications
To be alerted about a price alert or results read by the robot, even with the site closed: open Settings, “Notifications on this device” section, then “Enable” and accept the phone's request. “Send a test” checks that everything works. Do it on each device.
On iPhone, it only works from the icon installed in step 3 (not from Safari), with iOS 16.4 or later.
How it works
- Every evening after the New York close, a robot updates company prices and results, screens the ~2,000 stocks and keeps the best placed: these are the flakes.
- An analysis (“Analyse” button on a stock, or “Select an analysis” on Home to run several in a row) takes one to three minutes: the app gathers the news, official filings and numbers, then Claude gives its opinion (one credit). A stock judged solid, with a trade plan (entry, stop, targets), becomes a nugget.
- Each flake has its entry zone: an entry considered near a support, a +20% target in 6 to 12 weeks, a −15% stop, with the matching position size (adjustable in Settings). The score also takes into account the review of the week (Home): the big themes of the moment (the “narratives”) and each sector's label (emerging trend, booming, running out of steam, avoid).
- Following a stock freezes its price and thesis: the Watchlist page then shows how it has done, and a “follow-up” gives the AI's opinion: hold, trim or exit.
- The quarterly results of the stocks spotted are read automatically by the robot as soon as they are published, with a notification.
Shared by all members: analyses, nuggets, flakes, company profiles and the market analysis (an analysis run by one benefits everyone). Private: your follow-ups, your price alerts, your chart drawings and your bell.
Keep in mind
Get Nuggets presents trade ideas for information only, not investment advice. Analyses are written by an AI that can be wrong, misread an article or miss a piece of news; past performance guarantees nothing. No order is ever placed by the app: everyone makes their own buying and selling decisions, and only invests what they can afford to lose.
